• Transferring money by using money order services.
• Delivering letters/posts to cities and all states of India.
• India Post provides RPLI(i.e rural Postal life insurance) and PLI (i.e Postal life insurance).
• This India Post accepts deposits from small saving schemes.
• India post helps the government to dispatch pension payments.

Standard Agent System (SAS)

There are different tasks performed by these different types of agents as follows-

• Promotes sales at NSC/TD/KVP/MIS/DSRGE liaising by working with the post offices and investors of India.
• India Post achieves the doorstep services for the investors

Every Dopagent will receive a 1% commission on each successful collection which is made by the post office and other DOP concerned departments.

If anyone wants to send their application to the district collector office then they should hold the following documents which are provided by the district institutional finance office/OIC of each district in all states.

• Application form
• Agreement form
• Nomination form
• Photocopy of the SAS agency.
• Documents proof such as ration card and date of birth.
• An affidavit attested by the Magistrate for Rs.10/-
• Two copies of character certificates
• Two recent passport-size photos. (2 photos for PPF, 4 photos for each MPKBY and SAS)

India Post Agent Login Process-

How do I log into my post office agent?

The complete DOP agent Login process is given below-

1. Firstly the Agents needs to visit the official website of DopAgent, now the homepage of the portal will open as shown below-
   
2. All the agent (PRSS/MPKBY) will get their login credentials i.e: username and password from the DoP offices.
3. All the accounts linked with an agent will appear on the Dopagent portal.
4. A separate list will be prepared for cash/DoP cheques and non-DoP cheques.
5. All those accounts which have been opened before the 15th will get the cash on or before the same date while all other accounts will receive cash by the end of the month.

How do I log into my post office agent?

For dop agent login you need to follow the easy steps given below-

1. Firstly the Agents need to visit the official website of DopAgent, now the homepage of the portal will open.
2. On the homepage, you will see and login window as shown below-
   
3. Enter your username and password.
4. After entering the login credential, click on the login button,
5. If you are login for the first time then you need to change your current password, as the first password been issued by the head department
6. After changing the password(if required), click on the accounts tab.
7. Now you need to choose the agent to inquire and update.
8. The system will display to you all the accounts associated with the specific agent,
9. After this, you need to select the mode of payment, such as cash/DoP cheque or non-cheque.
10. Now you need to select all those accounts from that you would like to pay.
11. After choosing the accounts in the ascending order(maximum of 50 accounts and 10000 cash-wise, no limit for the cheque)
12.  Now save the details.
13. Those Dopagents who are using Cash mode for making the payment need to select the account number and enter the amount to deposit.
14. After this agents need to click on the get rebate and default option.
15. Now, an automatic system will show the rebate and default, here the agent needs to enter the ASLAAS number of the customer.
16. After entering the ASLAAS number, click on the Save button.
17. Those Dopagents who are using Non-DoP cheque mode for making the payment need to enter the cheque number, the total number of installments, and the account number for the RD installment, then enter the ASLAAS number of the customer.
18. After entering the ASLAAS number, click on the Save button.
19. After this, the system will display a success message on your screen.
20. Now click on the pay all modified installments.
21. Now the system will automatically create a reference number as in the format given below-
    • C for cash
    • DC for DoP cheque
    • NDC for a non-DoP cheque.
22. Click on report, key in the reference number after that click on the status as a success.
23. Now click on the search option followed by the “ok” button.
24. Finally, a PDF file will be displayed on your computer screen, the agent needs to take two copies of it for reference and submit them at the counter.

Procedure to reset India Post Agent Login Forgot password?

If you had forgotten your dop agent login password for the India Post, then you can reset the password easily for this you need to follow the easy steps given below

1. Firstly the Agents need to visit the official website of DopAgent, now the homepage of the portal will open.
2. On the homepage you will see a login section for Dopagent, here you need to click on the “forgot password” option.
3. Now enter agent login email id and click on confirm.
4. You will receive a reset link on your email, click on this link and create your new password.

2. After the agent’s login, click on the “My setting” option from the main menu bar.
3. choose the “change password” option available under the basic information.
4. Now on the new page enter your current password and the new password
5. Click on the Save button.
