Central Schemes

National scholarship Last Date Extended

the government provides scholarships to all eligible students to encourage education. This National Scholarship is provided every year to all eligible students. the last date to apply for a scholarship for the year 2023 has been extended by the government. a notification has been issued by The higher education director of all the schools, colleges, and universities. through this notification, the higher education director has asked all the educational institutions to make sure that all the eligible students can apply for the scholarship before the last date of submission i.e 31st December 2020. All the school students can apply for scholarships for level 1.1 and level 1.2 till 31st December 2023. the first phase verification is till 31st January 2024 and the 2nd phase verification is till 28 February 2024.

UGC- Schemes (University Grant Commission)

In India, The University Grants Commission (UGC) is the apex body in the higher education system. Some of the University Grants Commission is also hosting its scholarships on the national scholarship portal. By these Scholarships, all the financial support will be provided to the needy students. NSP Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria For Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme

• The applicant/student must belong to domiciles of North Eastern states including Mizoram Meghalaya, Tripura Assam ManipurArunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland ( for Ishan Uday special scholarship scheme only)
• The applicant/student of a single girl child in the family can apply (twin daughters can also apply) (only single girl child of PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship )
• An applicant’s/student should be less than the age of 30.
• An applicant’s annual family income must be less than 4.5lacs.
• The applicant should have taken admission in the first year of the degree course(Ishan Uday school)

PG Scholarship For University Rank Holders Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should be a rank holder in their graduation exam (for PG scholarship for university rank holders)
• The applicant should belong to SC/ST category (for the PG scholarship scheme for SC/ST students)
• The applicant must be pursuing the first year of post-graduation studies
• The student must have scored at least 60% marks in graduation to apply for a PG scholarship for university rank holders.
• The maximum age limit of the applicant is till 30 years

National Scholarship Portal Registration Process 2023

First Step- NSP Registration

1. To register yourself, first of all, you have to visit the National Scholarship
2. Now from the home page of the website, you will have to click on the “new registration” option.
   
3. You have to read the instructions displayed on the screen, then tick the checkbox and click the “continue” option
4. You have to carefully enter the details as asked on the screen such as
   • name,
   • date of birth,
   • mobile number,
   • gender,
   • email ID,
   • bank details etc.
5. You have to enter the captcha code displayed and then click the “Register” option

Second Step-  NSP Login

1. First of all, Log in through your “Student Registration ID”
   
2. After NSP login a new window will open containing your account details, here you need to click on the “Application Form” option.
3. an application form will appear on your mobile/computer screen, the demo of the application form is  shown below
   
4. Now will you have to fill in the asked details as following
   • State of Domicile
   • Name of the student,
   • date of Birth,
   • Community/ Category,
   • Father’s Name,
   • Mother’s Name,
   • Annual Family Income,
   • Aadhaar card Number,
   • Mobile Number,
   • Scholarship Category,
   • Gender, Religion,
   • Email ID etc.
5. After entering all the required details you need to click on the “Save & Continue” option, and the next page appears.
6. You have to upload the required documents asked in the application form by scanning those.
7. After a final review of your information, you need to click on the “Final Submission’’ option
8. Thus, your Application is now finally submitted.

Scholarship Sanctioned List Checking  (Scheme Wise )

1. To check the sanctioned list, you will have to visit the Official Website
2. You will have to click on “new registration”, from the homepage of the website
3. After this, you will have to click on “Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List”
   
   
4. The academic year, application type, ministry, scheme, state, and district should be chosen by you correctly.
5. Now you need to enter the captcha code and then for submission of the application form  click the submit option
6. On the screen, your list will be displayed.

Application Status Checking Procedure

1. Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal
2. On the home page of the website, you have to click on the NSP login link and then select your year
3. Now, you have to enter your application ID and the password
4. After that, you have to click on check your status
5. Now on your screen, your application status will be displayed.

How to apply for Renewal

1. Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal
2. You will have to click on “Login” now, from the home page of the website.

Institute/School/ITI Searching Procedure

2. Now you have to click on the “Search for Institute/ School/ ITI” option From the home page of the website.

   • Institution State
   • Institution District,
   • Institute /College/ITI and School/College/ITI Name( this is Optional)
4. Now you have to click on the “Get  Institution list” option and the information will appear on your computer screen

How To Know Your AISHE Code

To know the AISHE Code, the applicants have to follow a few easy steps as mentioned below:-

2. From the home page, you have to click the “Track NSP payments” option

4. Click the search option and information will be displayed in front of you.

How to Download App Of National Scholarship Portal

1. Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal
2. A home page will be displayed in front of you
   
3. You have to click on get it on Google Play on the home page.
4. You have to click on install after that.
5. Soon the application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.

 Institute Registration Form Filling Procedure / NSP Institute Login

1. Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal
2. On the homepage, you have to click on the NSP Institute login option.
3. Login: A login form will open in front of you where you will have to:-
   • Select the academic year
   • Enter the user ID
   • Now Enter the password
   • Enter the captcha code
4. Now click to login into the NSP profile
5. A dialogue box will appear on your screen after that, which will ask you to click on the ok option. You have to click on the ok option.
6. Registration form: Now a registration form will be displayed in front of you.
7. On the registration form, First of all, you have to upload the identity proof of the institute’s Nodal officer in the registration form by clicking on choose file and selecting the image. The fact that the image should be in PDF or JPEG format and not more than 200 KB in size should always be kept in mind. And then, you have to click on upload identity proof.
8. You have to carefully enter the details as asked n the registration form such as:
   • The AISHE/DISE/NCVT code
   • Name of the institute
   • Do you want to change the name in NSP as per AISHE/DISE directory?
   • Nature of institute
   • Name of affiliated board/university
   • Institute’s total student strength
   • Address of the institute
   • State of the institute
   • District of the institute
   • Institute’s website URL
   • Details of Head of the institution
   • The Details of the designated Institute Nodal officer for NSP
9. OTP: The registered mobile number of the Nodal officer of the Institute will receive an OTP which should be filled in the OTP box and then other relevant information should be filled up.
10. All the information should be filled in very carefully and you have to save the entered information before finally submitting the form by clicking the save form option and then click on the final submit option.
11. Reference ID: After finally submitting the form, the form will be transferred to the district Nodal officer, and a reference ID will be generated.
12. Print Out: You have to take the printout of this form, make sure it’s duly signed and stamped, and then submit it to the district Nodal officer.

Procedure For Updating Profile Of The Institute

If the district Nodal officer approves the registration form, then the new password will be sent to the registered mobile number of the Institute Nodal officer. Now in order to make the profile functional, the institute Nodal officer should log in with the new password and then follow the given below steps:-

1. Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal
2. On the homepage, you will have to click on the NSP Institute login
3. Login: Now the login page will appear in front of you, now you have to  carefully enter the details as asked on the screen such as:
   • Select the academic year
   • Enter the password
   • Now enter your user ID
   • Enter the captcha code
4. Now click to login into the NSG profile
5. OTP: Now an OTP will be sent to the institute Nodal officer’s registered mobile number. You should enter the OTP received and click on confirm OTP
6. Reset Password: To reset your password, a new page will be opened in front of you where you have to reset it. After that, you should click on submit and then you need to click on continue to login.
7. Update Profile: Now the Nodal officer of the institute is required to update the profile, to update the profile firstly he needs to click on administration and after that click on the update profile.
8. OTP: You are required to enter the OTP sent on the registered mobile and click on confirm OTP.
9. Institute profile update form: To update the information (if any), a form will open in front of you You have to carefully enter the details as asked on the screen such as:
   1. The Institute details
      • Name of the Institute
      • Nature of the Institute
      • The Board or university name
      • The Course level offered
      • The Board state
      • The DISE/AISHE/NCVT code
      • Address of the Institute
      • State of Institute
      • District of Institute
      • Pincode of the Institute
      • Talukaaur bloc of Institute
      • Upload the registered certificate
   2. The Contact person’s details
      • The Name
      • The Mobile number
      • The Phone

      • The OTP
   3. Your Bank Details

10. Final Submit: Now you shall click on final submit. After clicking on it, a message stating your profile has been updated successfully will be displayed on your computer screen.
